1:21, an ‘amazing’ (thambeō) exorcism occurs in the synagogue there, built by a military official
7:5 indicates CPT Marvel built the synagogue where Mark’s exorcism occurs.
4:23 suggests a miracle had happened there, even tho it’s the first occurence of the city in that gospel… Could that be referring to Mark’s exorcism?
